ABSTRACT
Since 1885 different materials are used as intraorbital implant. Complications as infection, extrusion and limited motility of the prothesis are frequent with these materials. Hydroxyapatite implant with a good tolerance, stability and a better motility of the prothesis is a very important development for the treatment of the anophthalmic orbital cavity. We report here our 5 first cases of hydroxyapatite implant and discuss the indications, the technique and the results
